I am very appreciative of those who left me a little love in the Holiday Meme. You all are going to make me blush. I bet I think the same about all of you, anons, you're all spectacular and I feel like I've been the centre of a big group hug.

I was on the train home from work today and thinking about the cupboard under my stairs. And how there is no amazingly wonderful boy in it.

• We have a female prime minister. Australia's first ever female PM.
• I have tickets to see Stephen Fry at the end of next month, and they're second row! Didn't think that would happen, but Ticketmaster have done this twice to me now after a second search. Not complaining and I can't wait now. The show would have been wonderful regardless.

Today I submitted my final assignment of my degree. I have four exams to pass next month, then I will be eligible to graduate. I fly overseas for two months, and two weeks after I get back I start my first "grown-up job". I fell sort of light and happy though. Nothing to freak out about for the next two weeks, and sure I haven't done an exam for 18 ( Read more... )
